Our Aussie Steaks

 
Our steaks at the Aussie Steakhouse have been aged for a minimum of 28 days.

All steaks are served with chips and salad or potato and vegetables

Pure Angus Rump – Murray Bridge, South Australia.  130 day grainfed, soft and flavoursome.
Rib Eye Cutlet – Scotch fillet on the bone.  Pasture fed and straight from local Hereford stock.
Eye Fillet –Rockhampten, Queensland. Pasture fed and aged to perfection.
Pure Angus Sirloin – Murray Bridge, South Australia.  Marble score 2, perfect tenderness, texture, colour and taste.
T-Bone – South east Queensland.  MSA graded, grain fed, Nolan’s Select.
Scotch Fillet – South East Queensland, Diamantina gold, stanbroke feedlot, lovely marbled with juiciness and flavor.
Wagyu Rump – Darling Downs, Queensland.  Derived from the Japanese tajima bloodline.  Grain fed for up to 500 days.
   
Please refer to the descriptions below in order to guarantee your steak is cooked to your liking
Blue: sealed outside while steak is at room temperature
Rare: cooked for approx 2 minutes on each side, still very bloody.
Medium Rare: maintain a medium red strip in the centre with grey edges
Medium: predominately grey with a pink centre
Medium well: grey from edge to edge with slight pick centre
Well Done: very firm with little juice. Grey throughout. Please allow 30 mins for cooking time.

It is our recommendation, for maximum tenderness, that all steaks are prepared as medium rare.
